P-Max
P-Max seeks to help SMEs to better recruit, train, manage and retain their newly-hired PMEs, encourage the adoption of progressive human resource practices within SMEs, and help to place job-seeking PMEs into suitable SME jobs. Under the P-Max programme, our Programme Managers (ASME, SNEF and SMF) can help to place PMEs into SMEs. To improve retention rates, both the freshly hired PME and his/her direct supervisor would be required to attend a training programme each (funded at up to 90% of the course fees) where they will learn about setting KPIs, doing appraisals, charting career progression etc. Thereafter, the PM would work with the PME and his/her direct supervisor for a period of 6-month to help improve the employer-employee relationship. If the PME is successfully retained for 6 months, the company will receive a one-time assistance grant of $5,000.
